PERFORMANCE ART
Portia is a member of the Big City Burlesque and
Vaudeville performance troupe.  Director and Creator,
Kenton McGhee, is a true master of his many crafts from
stage design to make-up and costume to his intricate
Burlesque-inspired renderings drawn from his fanciful
imagination.

                                  American Violet
Portia plays Laquathia who befriends the film's heroine during her unjust stay
in prison.  American Violet was one of two U.S. films shown at the 35th annual
Telluride Film Festival and was released in select theaters by Samuel Goldwyn
Films.


Portia also co-starred in independent film, Ghetto Dawg.
